Gilmore is a member and supporter of the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, but we realize non-members may not know about the great work they do for black-owned businesses in the state.
Some of the services they offer include the American Family Business Resource Center which includes business plan preparation, access to the Black Business Information Center, meeting space for seminars and classes and business software such as PowerPoint and Excel. They also offer low-cost office services such as photocopies, mailing labels and mailing lists; free seminars at the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center; networking events focused on exposing emerging professionals to the larger world of business; small group golf outings meant meant to make networking fun; the Power Breakfast and Lunch and Learn Series; and the Black Business Information Clearinghouse that provides critical business information for starting business owners.
We encourage to explore the website or come meet some members and find out what the chamber is about at its March Chamber Leaders Coffee Series event from 8:30-9:30 a.m. March 25 at chamber headquarters in Denver 410 17th St., Suite 1110.
