Gilmore Construction Corporation has received Supplier of the Year Award 2014, Class 3 from the Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council. We are excited and humbled by this honor, which ranks our company among the top construction firms in a region covering four states — Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
Even better in many respects is that one of our satisfied clients, Kaiser Permanente, nominated us for this prestigious award because of the outstanding service Gilmore has delivered to this healthcare giant over the years. The award recognizes a top company in the category for firms generating up to $50 million in revenue that also has distinguished itself by providing significant opportunities to small businesses and through its community involvement. Gilmore invests in the education and advancement of youth in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. Each week of the academic year, Gilmore professionals head to Cole Middle School in Denver to teach middle-school and high-school students.
All candidates are nominated by corporate members of the MPMSDC. These annual awards are given to minority suppliers who distinguish themselves and their business by successfully demonstrating growth in sales and employment while overcoming significant obstacles, consistently providing high quality products and services at competitive prices; and significantly contributing to the growth and development of society and their community.
