We’re excited to be working with the next generation of construction professionals this summer. Read on for short bios of each 2022 intern and reach out for more information on our internship programs.
Claudia Carrillo, Project Support Intern
Claudia is a sophomore at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she’s studying civil engineering. In the future, Claudia wants to help create different structures that contribute to helping the environment. Her favorite hobbies are going to the gym, hiking, and baking.
Claudia’s currently working with our team at Denver International Airport to support clients on multiple projects with United Airlines, Delta Airlines, and special on-call task orders.
Jalaya Gilmore, Project Support Intern
Jalaya, a junior at the University of Denver, is majoring in biological sciences, with minors in chemistry, mathematics, physics, and psychology. Her ideal career is to be a physician’s assistant, pediatrician, or be involved in business management. She plays college volleyball and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing with her dog and young children.
This summer, Jalaya is aiding the Gilmore business team with event planning as well as the implementation of our new customer relationship management platform (CRM).
Rachel Randolph, Project Support Intern
This is Rachel’s second summer interning with Gilmore. She’s preparing to enter her junior year as an architecture major at CU Denver. Rachel would like to become an architect and is still deciding between residential and commercial. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and watching movies.
Rachel is assisting our operations, accounting, and business team with several projects, including design layout of a new office space, project signage, and the CRM rollout.
