Our team is fully committed to construction safety, and we work diligently to ensure all of our employees, trade partners and vendors are informed of best practices and the latest safety requirements. So, we’re pleased to announce that Gilmore Safety Manager Vince Gilmore recently completed instruction authorized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration that allows him to train fellow construction workers in safety.
Vince has completed “OSHA 500: Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry.” This course is especially designed for professionals interested in developing safety and health programs for the construction industry. Vince successfully completed the course to become an outreach trainer who is authorized to lead 10- and 30-hour construction courses. Construction industry outreach trainers like Vince must take refresher courses every four years to maintain their training status.
Vince already is preparing to offer from our Denver offices in January the first construction-safety-training sessions for Gilmore’s construction partners. He has more than 20 years of construction experience, ranging from residential remodeling and new, custom-home construction to large commercial projects. He is a dynamic and intuitive team member with a sound track
record of ensuring safe practices on all Gilmore job sites. Vince’s sunny disposition and keen focus on customer service have helped Gilmore scout business opportunities and build lasting business relationships — and plenty of repeat customers.
Vince is, indeed, passionate about volunteer service — and recently was named Executive of the Year by the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce.
