The night before Eddie joined the Denver Rescue Mission‘s New Life program, he had drank a gallon of whiskey and then woke up on a cold early morning in front of the non-profit’s downtown Denver location.
“Something made me come alive that day,” he said. Now Eddie works full-time at a laboratory warehouse and does some landscaping.
Eddie is one of several success stories the Denver Rescue Mission is featuring on their website with its new feature Stories of Changed Lives. These stories of people’s whose often miserable lives have been transformed by the work of the non-profit that helps homeless men and women reclaim their lives and get back on a successful, healthy path is why Gilmore continues to support the rescue mission and their efforts to change lives.
We hope these stories inspire you to give your time or money to this very needed and valuable organization.
