Gilmore is looking forward to the Plates for the Peak event from 6:30-10 p.m. Oct. 20 at Vesta Dipping Grill in Denver, an annual fundraiser put on by Urban Peak, a non-profit that helps young people deal with or prevent being homeless.
The event is one of Urban Peak’s oldest, originally starting out as “Small Plates For The Spot.” This year it will be planned and hosted by the owners of Denver’s Vesta Dipping Grill and Steuben’s. The event takes place at Vesta Dipping Grill, 1822 Blake Street, Denver.
“Guests are treated to a delicious array of small plates prepared by Brandon Foster, Executive Chef for Vesta Dipping Grill, and his fabulous team; specialty drinks; and networking with other Urban Peak supporters.”
“Founded in 1988, Urban Peak is the only non-profit organization in Denver that provides a full convergence of services for youth ages 15 through 24 experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Our goal is to meet youth where they are and to provide them with the assistance and support they need to become self-sufficient or obtain the necessary services they need to exit a life on the streets.”
