Gilmore supports the Center for Work, Education and Employment, which helps disadvantaged women find jobs.
The organization is working to raise money by selling discounted tickets to the Aug. 8 match-up of the Colorado Rapids and Real Salt Lake. Three dollars of every ticket sold goes back to the CWEE. Find out more about getting those tickets here.
CWEE was created in 1982, modeled after a San Antonio, Tex program that provides services supporting mostly women who want to leave public assistance for gainful employment. It was recently featured in The Denver Post. For more information on the organization, click here.
