New Faces

Gilmore Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Nicole Schroder to our Executive Management Team. Nicole started June 1st as Gilmore’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. As we prepare for expansion in key areas of business, Nicole’s executive experience, strategic vision, and business acumen will help to position us for the next phase of growth. Nicole is also a partner and member of the board of directors. We are fortunate to have her. Join us in welcoming Nicole aboard!

Manasi Pitkar-Godse joins Gilmore as Senior Estimator for the commercial projects division. Manasi will administer the commercial estimating and proposal preparation processes. She joins us with years of experience after working for distinguished contractors like Saunders, Turner and Mortenson. We are proud to have her join our staff and welcome her to Team Gilmore.

Welcome aboard to Brent Newman as Project Manager to Team Gilmore. Brent will manage commercial and federal projects for Gilmore. He is managing the work scope for our project with Saunders at the Central Park Recreation Center at Stapleton. His diverse background and experience will be a valuable addition to the management team.

Starting in July, you can catch our very own Gilmore experts Vince and Justin on HGTV!!! They're offering renovation advice on the new show Professional Grade. The first episode airs Saturday, July 11 at 8:30 a.m. Don't miss it! Then be sure to mark your calendars for the remaining episodes airing July 18,... July 24, August 1 and August 11.

New Projects

Gilmore and partner Adolfson & Petterson Construction was recently awarded the Denver Public Schools North High School Renovation project. The project will be underway in the 1st quarter of 2010.

The new Stapleton Recreation Center is underway and scheduled to open before the end of 2010. Gilmore is the Associated General Contractor working with Saunders Construction to build this new 35,000 SF facility.

Gilmore Featured on 9 News

Vince Gilmore was one of the featured attendees at the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Business Fair held on Tuesday, July 14 at the Tivoli Student Union in Denver. The Fair hosted hundreds of small businesses that were able to meet directly with state procurement officials to receive help on bidding for contracts funded by the Recovery Act. Governor Bill Ritter, who was in attendance, announced, "Today we are helping small businesses make the most of the Recovery Act. The act is creating opportunities all across Colorado. It's vital that small businesses are able to take full advantage of this as we lead Colorado forward and re-energize the economy." See video here>

Gilmore Sponsors Kids Golf Tournament

Gilmore Construction is the main sponsor for the annual Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK) Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, September 18th, 2009 at the world class Green Valley Ranch Golf Course in Denver, Colorado. ELK is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educating and introducing under-privileged youth to the natural wonders of Colorado’s wildlife and wilderness areas. ELK expects to introduce over 2000 kids to various programs this summer.
